OSDC PE V7 - One profile for all user in the PC

Hi all,

I´m looking for how to config OSDC PE V7 HFA to use only one profile to all user at a pc.

Default config is each user has to config the main line and conection to Pbx or maybe, adminitrator could configure OSDC to get config from one network drive where they could store config for all users.

Since, it is a call center, we need to get same station at each machine, no mather who is logging in.

Do you have a DLS server in your world? OSDC can interact with DLS, and DLS can take care of many of the details. I'm still working on process automation myself, but my office extension that runs on my OS60 in DLS I also have a second profile set up for the desktop client. The trick is to set up the template for the settings and then add it to the profile that you have set up for the extension you are trying to login to on the PC... If you can wrap your head arould DLS, which takes a little while, it can be pretty slick. DLS is actually free to set up for limited purposes like deploying firmware upgrades and things so you don't necessarily have to license it unless you are using some more complicated features.

That's one suggestion. A second suggestion I've never tried is if you can tell OSDC where to find its files, then tell it to look for its setting in a common area such as making a directiory under C:\Program Data or under C:\ where all users have access. Then whatever profile is in there "should" get used for everyone. I've never looked in there to see if you can specify the file locations....

We don´t setup a DLS, but we can try this and about setting a common area i don´t know if this could work, because OSDC creat files like (user).(osdcprofile).config or .xml and every user login in same PC could create new files. But i will try these 2 and post results back.
