Hi guys.

There is a certain procedure how to enable Signaling and Payload Encryption (SPE) on OSB X8.

I did exactly as the manual said and it worked.

After that I did Factory Reset the station and now I cannot make it work again.

Maybe someone faced the same problem.

OSB X8 V2 R7.0.0 871

SPE feature requires 4062/4063 to be opened in the firewall for the signaling and the rtp ports for voice.
Port 4062 is HFA signaling not encrypted, port 4063 is for encrypted HFA signaling.
SRTP (payload/voice encryption) is supported as well, and just needs to be turned on in the OSBiz.
There are some settings in the phone, depending on the desired behavior.

If the security is set in the phones and the port 4061/4063 is used to log on, signaling encryption is used.
There is a setting in the OSBiz configuration to turn on payload encryption for each client (Station configuration, on by defualt it seems).
Depending on what client is registering and whether payload encryption is supported by the client the payload encryption could be negotiated on top of signaling encryption.

Hi.

Thanks for the answer adibv.

The problem was my own mistake.

All the configuration what I did was correct. But I was doing wrong check.

*80 + extention number to see if the call is secured.

I just called the number, but did not pick up the phone.

Thank you.
