OS4K EcoBranch XML File

Did anyone here use an Ecobranch before? I got one with a couple of SLC-M and cannot find any documentation about it.
I was hoping it could be installed like an IPDA but have no luck.

Would someone have a sample XML file and some tips on how to get that going?

Any help / pointers are appreciated.

You want that tool. It has a sample XML in it for Branch.

To "get it going" you are going to need the 4K install ISO written to USB, with your XML put into /config.... boot it from USB and let the magic happen.

I just looked at that folder and seen the files here - I still dont think I get that right. Is the Ecobranch not acting like an IPDA.
When I look at sample 'firstinst-netw-SimplexiSG_Branch_advanced' it appears I am installing a simplex system. Is that what has to be done?

You don't want Simplex SG, that does install a Branch also operating as CCA, simplex processor.

You want Standalone Softgate, change the HW type from Access 500 to Branch. Then it will operate like an IPDA, i.e. a remote shelf.

Installing a branch will +1 the SLES license requirement unless you are V11.
