Running Panther with latest patches.
1.5GB RAM.
PCI-X version.
Dual channel ATT0 SCSI card.
Linked to 14 drive XServe (all 250GB) via fibre.
Linked to Ultra320 LTO-2 Ultrium drive with multi tape library.
LTO-2 should run at 108GB/hr native and 216GB/hr compressed. Using Retrospect 6, we get 50-55GB/hr native. Maximum.
What am I missing? Have upgraded Retrospect, got a fast server, fibre connected RAID and yet it runs tragically slowly...
