I work for a school system that runs our email through a proxy.
When I setup OS X mail client I put in my incomming mail server which is the address of my mail server. For the outgoing mail servetr I have to put my "A" sites proxy address in. The problem is when a person outside of email domain goes to reply to my messages for some reason my email reply addrss gets changed from my email address to my account @ my "a" sites proxy address.
for example
jim@cityschools.net
gets changed to
jim@proxy.org
This only happens from pop3 OS X mail client I can use any pop3 client mail software on OS 9 and I do not run into any problems.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
