OS X and mapped DFS drives....

I have about 12 MAC PC' s with OS's ranging from 8-10. I am having an issue on all the OS 10 MAC's where the users are having issues connecting to a mapped drive the is on a DFS share on a Windows 2000 Server. Sometimes they can access the drive fine. Then a few minutes later they cannot. Other mapped drives to other WIndows 2000 Servers that are not sharing via DFS are fine all the time. I am certain it is an issue between the DFS and MAC OS. ANy ideas?
