I have a project coded using javascript/asp/sql. Running this project on one server (using Windows Server 2000 and the most current version of IIS (5 or 6?)) This is the server that the project was developed on. As a backup in case the server couldn't handle the load of users, we have a faster/stronger server that we could move it to that is using Windows NT 4 and I think IIS version 3. We moved the project to that server just to ensure we had a backup plan in case something went wrong and the project would not run. I'm pretty sure that the ASP and SQL versions are the same on both servers, the only difference is the OS and IIS version. When I say the project would not run on the backup server, specifically it was getting syntax errors on lines as simple as HTML comments <!-- blah -->. Has someone run into this problem before, and if so was it easily fixable? Are there some settings that aren't configured properly, or a plug-in I need to install? Or is it common to have problems with web pages between NT4 and Sever2000? I know this really isn't a javascript question, but I know most of you here are pretty knowledgeable web designers and with any luck might have run into a similar problem before. Thanks for any input.
