Hi,

was working on PowerMac G4 Quiksilver but just got a new Mac Pro and have installed all my apps on the new machine. I didnt want to use the Migration Assistant as wanted everything afresh. Anyway, I use Camino as my main browser and have loads of passwords in the Keychain on the old machine. How can i migrate these across to the new Mac Pro?

Your old keychain (s) should be in user/library/keychains.

On the new machine go to Apps/Utilities/Keychain Access and launch. On File menu go to Import and navigate to your old keychain.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook

Thanks jmgalvin.

The file has come in as a "Unix Executable File" and i never even had the sense to right click and "Open With". Everything seems to work fine now. Cheers.
