Hi,

OS X 10.4.9 connecting to Small Business Server 2003. I have no problems whatsoever connecting - everyone has a 'Users' folder for 'private work files' and there is a 'Company' folder for sharing documents. These work fine. The problem is that I have a user who has one folder I need to have access to but we dont want it in the 'Company' share. Obviously I am always connected to my own Windows share. I have set the correct permissions on the folder but when i try to connect to it via 'Finder > Go > Connect to Server ' I get the message:

'You are already connected to this server volume'

Any ideas?

1. What happens if you eject your own share first?
2. Are you specifying the share name in the connection dialog, or just the server?

Worst case, try using the Terminal and the mount_smbfs command to connect via the command line.

If i eject my share then when i try to connect to the share i get the 'Users' share with folders of all the users, although when i click on them they disappear as i dont have permission to view them.
