We migrated to 2007 a few weeks ago, I (thought) I followed the migration documentation, but must have missed something. Users are able to see distribution lists and group calendars that are in "all public folders", but can't edit, etc.
The old server is gone.
I went into the PF management console to look at permissions, and it looks like these folders are replicas. They show items in the folders int the properties tab, but if you double-click on them there's nothing in the folder.
Is there any way to convert or copy the orphaned replica folders to the actual Public folders or default folders?
The only thing I could think of was to copy the folders to Outlook, then create a new PF structure in 2007 and copy them back up, but I'll lose permissions, managed rules, etc.
