Hello,

We have just started using Office 365 and I'm one of the administrators. We are struggling to find out how to enforce or set a default header or theme for each document that is created.

For example, if one of our users creates a new Word, or Excel file, our company logo is across the top.

It sounds like something that we should easily be able to do but we have not been able to figure it out for the past few days whilst trialling 365.
Is there any way to do this? Thanks!

Hi,

Things like this: "enforce or set a default header or theme for each document that is created" are PRIMARILY accomplished by corporate directives, along with appropriately prepared and stored templates.

The various departmental users must adhere to such company policy and departmental management must uphold these policies.

There is no way to impose such restrictions on users of Microsoft Applications from within these applications, since they are designed for flexibility and ad hoc use.
