I am building an org chart, which connects to a database. I am displaying employee name and job title. When using the Org Chart wizard, visio will by default build the org chart. My problem is that some of the shapes that visio uses in the org chart are not appropriate to the contents of the data. If I have an employee or title with a long value, then the data will overflow overtop of and out of the visio shape. Is there a way to stop this? Better yet is there a way to stop this for the entire org chart?

I know that I can go in and reformat the shapes. However, when I have 150+ pages of org charts, this does not seem like an appropriate solution. I was hoping that I could find a feature or option that would constrain the data to fit the shapes. OR I was hoping for a solution to reformat the shapes to fit the data. Does anyone have experience that they could share. I have searched yahoo, google, microsoft and tek-tips.

Thanks, Tim
