Org chart blanks slide when edited in PPoint 1

I have a 17 slide organisation chart. When I edit one particular slide using org chart, then update it and return to powerpoint the screen flashes and then erases that one slide. Doesnt happen with other slides.

Running Office 97 with SR2-b.

Any ideas?

Once you're in that org chart, save the org chart by hitting "Save Copy as". This saves the org chart as an individual file. Then, create a new slide, and hit Insert-Object-From file, get the org chart. See if that helps clear out what appears to be corruption on that one slide.
