Hello

I am using SQL Server 2000

When you insert an Execute Package Task and click the 3 dots to stipulate a package name there seems to be no logic to the order in which they appear

I currently have about 4-500 packages to select from and it just seems to take an age to find the exact one

Thanks

Damian.

Welcome to the world of non-user friendly DTS for SQL 2000. I'm sure there is some logic to the way the packages are displayed but I've yet to figure it out. The same thing happens when you use the DTSRUNUI utility.

Hopefully the developers of DTS 2005 will have addressed some of these quirks.
