I've been searching Cisco's site for information, and I'm obviously not looking in the right area. Where can I find out which module I need to order for a specific router? I have a modular router, but would like to add an ethernet port via module. All I can find is modules with designations like NM PA POSIP PVDM. Can someone help me?

Iolair,

Here is where Google is your friend, just put in the router you have and "module" or "Network Module" and you will see links to what modules are supported by your router (many at Cisco) as well as different places selling those modules.

I myself start most of my Cisco shopping at they have a lot of Cisco routers, switches, cables and modules at pretty good prices.

They do have a section for Cisco modules!

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I often forget about the easy, obvious stuff like that. Must be brain damage from years of using Microsoft products. <g>. Thanks for the link to cablesandkits, too.

Thank you.
