Hi,
I have a cross-tab in my report with 1 row & 1 column. The row gets data from the field item_key and the column from the field itemflt_cd of my table. In the table there are also 2 more fields LOrder -which is responsible for the ordering of item_key & FOrder for itemflt_cd. When I created my table I used order by clause and I also used order by clause in CR Show SQL Query. But the ordering I get as a result of the report is not as expected.I also try to change the ordering from Formt Cross-tab -> Group Options but I could not find a way...

Pls if anybody has any idea help me

Does changing the 'order by' clause affect the data ordering in the crosstab? I was looking at this and I could not see that it affected the ordering at all. I am wondering if using the crosstab negates the order by clause.

Thanks for replaying,

I think that the problem is that cross-tab use its own ordering which is determined by FormatCross-tab -> Group Options where there are 3 ways of ordering:1.in ascending order 2.in descending order 3. in specified order
I do not know how to declare a specified order, but I belive that if I find a way it will give an answer to the problem
