Ordered Field in SOE...

I need to change the ordered field on our Sales Order Entry-Lines screen to be able to enter 6 digits. Right now I can only enter 5 digits plus 3 decimal places. Can someone tell me how to do this. I have been in Customizer but cannot find where to do this. We are using Mas200.

Another question: Some users connect with Terminal Services on Win95/98 and sometimes the numlock will not work and they have to use the numbers above the keyboard. Any fix? Thanks.

I've never heard of the issue with the numlocks -- it certainly is interesting.. let me talk to my tech guy tomorrow morning and see what I can discover on that one.. it certainly sounds more of a terminal services issue than a MAS200 issue.

As for the numeric format of your quantities, that is controlled by your inventory options (under the inventory management setup menu). There should be a spot where can set the number of decimal places to use in quantity fields. It accepts a number between 0-3. How the system is coded is this: Basically, is give you 8 numeric places, and you are choosing where the decimal point lands. You can get a 5.3 (what you currently have), a 6.2, an 8.1, or a 9.0 numeric format. You need anything other than that and you'll have to engage a MAS90/200 developer to start making coding changes.

Be foreworned, that making a change of this nature could be costly because of the physical number of programs that could be affected by this change.. Any screen display or report that has a quantity on it looks at the i/m options record and formats a mask based upon that number of decimal places value.
