ORDER OF FIELD IN REPORT 1

I have a report made from 2 tables tblone and tbltwo which are in one to many relationship.

There is a sl no field in tbltwo which is put in ascending order in the underlying query and I have also put this field as the leftmost field in the query.

But still I find that when the report is run, the sl no is shown in random order which is very irritating.

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi,
Go to the design view of the Report

View Menu > Sorting and Grouping
Sort your field in the pop up box.
This will override the grouping in the underlying query.

Hi,Abdulla,I tried your suggestion and it worked beautifully.

I only know how much time I had spent earlier in recreating my report several times without succeeding.
