Order of Events 1

Could someone please advise where I can find out the order in which some of the events associated with forms and fields occur?
Obviously some only occur when an action occurs, however, I believe there are times when several events occur upon a single action, e.g. opening a form.

What you ask is a pretty diversified subject. At one time I had the majority sequences you seek, but lost them with a crashed hard drive.

However ... what you you can do is [blue]put the cursor on the event line[/blue] (from the events tab of the properties window) and hit F1. Enough of the events will [blue]speak of sequences![/blue] You just have to externally link them together. As an example for the forms [blue]On Open[/blue] event, the folowing sequence occurs:

[blue]Open > Load > Resize > Activate > Current[/blue]

[blue]Your Thoughts? . . .[/blue]

In particular when working with subforms, the order of events might be a bit tricky or unexpected, as the subform open and load it's records prior to the main form, so that the subform events occur before the main form events.
