Dear All gurus,
we set the Accpac to restrict the user from putting zero for any items which have insufficient quantities. So for those taking the chances to put zero and later they will add qty it will block them when they do so. Also qty committed is always equal to qty ordered.
I tested it. I put zero then save the order entry.
I go back and I put 2pcs. It allows me to save. (it should not because it doesn’t automatically update the qty committed).
I noticed that once we initially posted the sale order the quantity is automatically committed. After checking the order, we go back to O/E entry and edit the quantity to the correct one. However, when we want to edit the quantity due to encoding error, there will be an error that quantity committed cannot be lower than quantity back ordered. I thought this has something to do with the OE setup, “calculate back order”.
Can someone suggest on the above.
Much appreciated.
