How can I make asp order by date with these date format day/month/year

i use these command and it makes it month/day/year
ObjRS.Open "SELECT * FROM News order by Datestamp desc", objConn, 3, 1, 1

can someone help me out!

Just format the date after the you've ran the select statement. Theres nothing you can do if the data is stored in an American format on a US server etc.

The date is not actually stored in the format that it is appearing to you, that is merely the default string that the Date object displays when printed, so in order to have it display in a selected format you will have to do as suggested above and format it before display (but after query).
