Order by date on a Datareport

Hi Can anybody tell me the way to order things by date in a data report. just like the sort ascending in microsoft access the reason is that my dates are shown in a mixed order when i view the datareport

I have used the Microsoft JET Extension and an access file to put it in.

so if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction i would be greatful
