ORDER BY clause Access 97

I am trying place a field in an existing crosstab query in a specific order. The only options Access gives is ASC or DESC but they are names of months and I don't need it in alpha order. I've tried the suggested syntax in SQL view but nothing seems to work

One Example of my effort... ORDER BY Month[January, February, March etc..]

I really appreciate any help on the subject.

Try converting the month to a date with the DateValue function.

SELECT *
FROM TableA
ORDER BY DateValue([monthname] & " 1" Terry
