ORBIT problems??

I have just been told "Don't ever use ORBIT". Atleast in Autocad 2002. His claim is that it adds crap to the drawing file and messes things up for others to work on the drawing?? HUH??

If you work in 2D, there probably is not much of a need for it. It could throw you off if you are not in world view.
