Hi,

I did a full backup useing 7 tapes but the LAST tape "G" now comes bad as unreconignised. So, how can I restore something with out haveing to look at that last tape... or can I?!?!?!

It prompts me for tapes B then D then asks for G, you pop it in and it spits it back out, run a inventory or cat. on it and it says unrecognized.

Can I still restore that file I need !!!!?!?

Cheers'
Dave

Coiuldn't you try a restore using a filter or something? In anycase the tape "g" is buggered and recovery of information off of that tape will be difficult.
