Hello, I would like to know if anyone has taken the Oracle9i SQL exam (1Z1-007) and what their thoughts are. I plan to take it by studying PL/SQL material from oracle8i PL/SQL books. Is this a bad path to passing the 1Z1-007 exam? Or are they very similar?

Thanks,
-jon

Some similar content, but I took (& passed) 007 at OpenWorld in December and it would be wise to pick up a 9i SQL book or a practice test...new ANSI sql join syntax, new MERGE statement, new 9i data types, CASE statement, etc. aren't covered in the 8i PL/SQL prep.

I would recommend the 007 practice test from Self Test Software (
