oracle10204 64bit server install problem 1

Hello,

I'm trying to install the Oracle 10201 64bit server onto my Linux 5.6 server. I have the enviroment file & display setup correctly and I'm using the following syntax:-

runInstaller -ignoreSysPrereqs

It does all the usual stuff but it never comes back with the installation gui.

Any suggestions on how I resolve this?

Hello,

I discovered that I was missing libXp which is required for the Installer Gui to work on RH5.6. So I have installed the base 10201 and patched it up to 10204 and all is working fine

ALso discovered that you need glibc-devel for the linking to work
