Our environment consists of the database above and a windows 2000 server which has our OWB client side installtion. The DB server has the OWB solaris software installed.
We have a problem with the runtime service on the DB server. When you use start_service.sql as the OWB rnutime user it starts, reported as successfully started by all the oracle supplied scripts and proceeds to do nothing.
If this service is stopped, if the service is started on the Windows client and the mappings executed, it is successfull. Has anyone ever had any problems with the runtime services on a solaris platform. ($OWB_HOME/owb/rtp/sql/run_service.sql)
Any ideas would be appreciated.
