Hi,
In the application I work, Oracle8i is the database and PB 6.5 is the GUI.
We authenticate user externally. That is the currently LOGGE-ON winodw's NT workstation user will be used to connect to oracle. After creating user in Oracle, who is to be indetified externally, we create SYNONYMS for that user for all database objects he/she need to access (including tables, views and STORED PROCEDURES).

We are able to manipulate data from/ to all the tables.
Our problem is, we are getting problem while executing the Procedures. It says, oracle Error: 931. and "cursor not open".

But if we qualify the procedure with the database owner name then it works.

Is the problem with External Identified User???

Can anyone suggest the possible problem and solution.
