I would like to know what are the popular Oracle Admin and Developer tools. Please provide me with links. I do have one more question. Oracle 9i that can be downloaded from Oracle Site, How long we can use this downloaded software ? What are the licensing restrictions.

hard core oracle people would ask 'What's wrong with using Enterprise Manager', and the old school oracle masterminds say, 'use SQLPLUS and write scripts, you wimps!' (No offense SantaMufasa - Your scripts are awesome and I use many of them, frequently!).

They all have a free download useable for 7 - 30 days, depends. Most of them will only permit you to download it once - because they are in business to make money, not provide free information and tools to our benefit.
