Oracle talking to other databases

Hello all.
Our main db is Oracle.
We have another application whose backend is Interbase.
It would be GREAT if we could query the Interbase tables from Oracle.
Is there a way to do this?

You need a gateway to be able to directly query the Interbase dB from Oracle. Check the Oracle website for details. If they don't have a gateway specifically for InterBase then you can still use the generic connection.
