Oracle table no longer accessible by more than one person at a time

I am accessing an Oracle table using a Microsoft Access interface. I am not able to open the mdb file where I have linked the Oracle table in. I am trying to open the table and when I double click on the mdb file it is in is when I get the following message, "could not use: [file path]/lab_data_tracker_2000.mdb; file already in use"
I am thinking might be an Access error, but regardless more than one person was able to access the table at one point after migrating it to Oracle.

Anyone, have any ideas? I have already posted this question in the Oracle forum.
