Hi,

I am having a difficult time with the built in help file for Oracle Forms. I am a Visual Basic programmer and it seem like the syntax is very different in Oracle land.

Can anyone suggest a website that has better examples for using the built in functions/commands.

Thank you for all your help

Tom

No problem - that is what Tek-Tips is all about.

For forms documentation try:

as a starting place. Forms Developer help is a bit like using the dictionary where you have to know how to spell the word to find it. In Forms Help you have to know what the built-in is to read about it. It can be very frustrating if you do not know the "right" search term.
