Hi,

I'm migrating a PowerBuilder 8 application to PowerBuilder
10.5.1 build 6602.

My applications calls some Oracle stored procedures that
return a char as return value or as out parameter. When I
perform the EXECUTE, the applications freezes with processor
at 100%.

This works fine when there is no char parameters or return
value in the stored procedure. So it seems there is
something wrong with the char type and PowerBuilder 10.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance.

My recommendation is to not use the output parameter of a stored proc, return the value(s) as part of a result set.

I know that, thanks...

By the way, it doesn't work properly with a char return value.

I'm working for a customer having a set of business stored procedure that must be used as is. I'm supposed to migrate the PowerBuilder application, not to rewrite the stored procedures.
