I've looked in several places and have not found how to display the record number in an Oracle tabular report. I would like to display the record number, of each record, on the left side of the report. I'm using 9i Oracle Reports Developer. Any help would be much appreciated.

Either add ROWNUM to the list of fields selected by your SQL, or create formula column in the lowest level group that would count any column in that group and reset at the Report level. Then just place another field to the group repeating frame ane source it with ROWNUM or the formula column.
