I had asked earlier about setting lines per inch in a report printing to a line printer but could never get this to work so scrunched everything up as close as I could to get it to print on the preformatted paper. This worked, but now I cannot get the paper to form feed to the next page correctly. I have my size of my layout as 13.5 wide by 4.5 and it should form feed to the next preformatted paper - again this is tractor feed paper like on a line printer. Is there anywhere else to set the line paper - I think I am going to have the problem with the line printer is defaulted at 66 lines and when I change it to something else it always defaults back. This is why I got into doing printer definition files since this is a character report and it just ignores what I am sending to the report. If not a way in Oracle is there a way in Windows to add a speciific paper type to pick from the page setup because I can see if I choose a paper size like 3 x 5 it definitely only prints 3 but my problem is may preformmated paper is 4.5 in height and 13.5 wide. I would appreciate any suggestions. This is a Tally T6100 line printer.

Thanks.

Well I figured out how to add a custom paper size thru Windows but when I go to Oracle Reports or Word or any application my custom paper size does not display? Does anybody know how to get it to show up? I think this would definitely help me with printing the invoices custom size 4.5 height x 13.5 -

Thanks.
