What precisely is the difference between an RDF file and
an REP file?

Is there a difference in the way Oracle executes each one?

What is the REP file for if Oracle can execute the RDF?

Hi,
The Older Versions of Form that is Below Forms 5.0 could not diretly execute .RDF files but could run only the .REP executables.

AN RDf file can be edited,can be used to run the report,can be used to Covert & generate it ti .REP,.REX,.TDF etc while you can only run the report using .REP.

>REP is portable only if it does not have Compiled PL/SQL.
