Hi,

Can someone please guide me...

I want to try Oracle reports.

Actually we have a .Net website and want to call Oracle reports from there. Having few questions related to this...
a) Will it be possible to call Oracle reports from .Net (ASP.Net/C#)

b) What are the Oracle products needs to be installed to try this? On Oracle download page, i see "Forms & Reports Developer" and "Forms & Reports Services". Do I need both of these or something else? We have Oracle 9i database running.
Sorry, long time ago, I used developer 2000 and since then not used this.

thanks.

regards,
Sudhi

In Web applications Oracle reports called as URLs; I see no reason why this can't be done from ASP. Report Builder is needed to develop reports, Report Services needed to run them on the Web. Forms Builder not needed, as forms, if necessary, can be developed with .NET tools.

Hi

many thanks

report builder and report services comes as a part of which download? Is it in developer suit or business intelligence tools?

Oracle Reports are under Development tools. Reports services are part of the Application Server (Oracele 9iAS)
