Hello-

Does Oracle Reports provide functionality for end users to build their own reports based on pre-defined templates (as is found in SQL Server Reporting Services)?

Thank you!!

Hi,
It is just my opinion, but I never thought Oracle Reports had good functionality for developers, much less for end users. Most Oracle shops I was working with used Crystal Reports, not Oracle, and used Business Objects or CR Server to provide some somewhat modifiable reports available on their intranet.

Turkbear is correct, Oracle reports does not provide functionality for ad-hoc reports.

Use Crystal reports, Oracle Discoverer or some other reporting tool.
