Oracle OLEDB and Impromptu 6

Hi,

can anyone give me info on how to set up an Oracle 8.17.1 or 9.1.0 OLEDB database connection in Impromptu 6. I have tried setting it up but keep getting a 'ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve service name' error.

My connection string is "Provider=OraOLEDB.Oracle.1;Persist Security Info=False;User ID=report;Data Source=maginus"

If i create a udl file and test it then the connection works. If I try to create a database connection with this connection string it fails.

Any help would be appreciated
