Oracle ODBC Error Message 1

Crystal 8.5 - ORACLE 9i

receiving error when trying to preview Crystal Report:

ODBC error: [Oracle][ODBC] Invalid Column Number <4> - does anyone out there have an idea of what this error means?

It WILL preview eventually after hitting the preview button several times

You're using the wrong ODBC driver.

If you insist upon using ODBC, select the Crystal supplied Oracle ODBC driver, not the Oracle supplied driver.

If you want performance and relaibility, use the Oracle native connectivity in Crystal (I believ in CR 8.X it's More Data Options and select Oracle Server)
