Hi,
I wasn't sure if this would be the correct forum as opposed to the AIX forum but ....
My question is : Does oracle recognise Virtual Processor as a limiter in terms of licencing when an lpar is uncapped ?
I know they recognise capped partitions and also shared pools as limiters, but what about VP's ?
Whatever VP's are assigned to an lpar, it cannot utilise or even see any more cores than the VP's assigned, so surely it should be recognised as a limiter
thanks
