When I try to add a stored procedure to a report in Crystal Reports 8, I get the error ORA-00000 normal, sucessful completion, but the procedure has not been added. If I try again I get a ORA-01001: invalid cursor error.

It might be in how the SP ends, does it result in a table?

No. There is nothing wrong with the procedure - it is in the same format as others which work but are for different databases.
I am unable to add any of the stored procedures for this database.

I am stumped. Are you able to add tables from this database? Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

I am able to add tables with no trouble, it is just the procedures.

To troubleshoot, I would copy this exact procedure to the database that works with SPS, and then try one of the working procedures from another database copied into this one. That will confirm if it is a database issue or an SP issue.

Do you have any access restrictions on these SPs that are different from the other database? Ken Hamady, On-site Custom Crystal Reports Training & Consulting

The SP runs on another Database but the other database is on Oracle 8 and this is on Oracle 7.

Will the SP that run in the other database run in this one?
Are you using the correct ODBC drivers or Oracle Client for V7?
