Hi all,

I have imported a table from oracle to crystal reports, when i add my date field to my report the date is displayed in the format 01/01-4713, however when i browse to field data on the field, the correct data is displayed!!

So I'm assuming perhaps i need a formula to format the date seeing as the correct value is being captured from the database.

I am new to CR so any help with this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Maggie

That strange date appears when there is no date and the field is empty. Browse doesn't show those values.

Use an If then else and ignore anything with a year of that field out of range.

If year({table.date}) > 1900 then {table.date}

Use the formula in the report.
