Hello,

1. I Would like to know if anybody is using Oracle Enterprise server on Windows 2000?

2. How many users on an average connect to this server? Is this your production server ?

3. Your experience and comments using Oracle Enterprise server on Windows 2000.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely

I have been using Oracle 8i Enterprise on my WIN2k server for several months now to compliment mySQL 3.23. Everything has went very well. The only problem I had was an ODBC error with mySQL, but reinstalling the driver smoothed everything out. I also do not believe this had anything to do with the Oracle install. Average connections to this server is 25-30 during business hours. I highly recommend installing 8i if you have the scalability needs, it is well worth your time.

Hello, I am intstalling 8 myself on Win2k, any pointers on how to configure the drives? RAID? Mirror etc. Please help
