I have a user that did quite a bit of work on our Oracle 8i instance with "Oracle ConText for Oracle 8i". He requested that I give him the same capabilities on our upgraded instance on that server which is Oracle 9.2.0.4. I've gone through the Oracle 9i installation CDs (executing runInstaller), following the "Custom" option, but I cannot locate any reference to install ConText.
I have followed as much of the installation instructions for ConText that appear at " Unfortunately, I only made it to Step 2: "Choose CUSTOM INSTALL, and INSTALL SOFTWARE - CREATE DB OBJECTS." I Chose Custom Install, but cannot locate the follow-on steps. I'm wondering if I am supposed to install ConText for Oracle 9i via some other set of instructions. (Kaplan did not indicate any Oracle version number for his instructions.)
Could someone point me to the correct set of instructions to obtain Oracle ConText functionality for Oracle 9.2.0.4?
