Hi,

I am using Oracle10 & Crystal Report 10. I am trying to create a report using ODBC. I have used "make new connection" and selected data source. Now I have selected my database but I did not find table/stored proc/view listing under that. I used to see that and I used to pick the view/table/stored proc I need to create report. But I can see the list for DB2,Access.

Any Clue?

Saying select data source doesn't make sense.

It's Create New Connection->Oracle Server

If your login works correctly, then you should see all objects that you have permission to use.

If the login fails, or it works and you can't see any objects, speak to the dba.

Also make sure from the main menu that the File->Options->Database has all objects checked that you wish to use.

I will call tech support and figure it out. I was working fine and now I did not see the view,table. Password and everything is fine. If the password was wrong then how come I could establish the connection.

I don't use Oracle server, I use ODBC.

You should be using the Oracle Server, it's faster.

Anyway, sounds like permissioning to me, I'd use TOAD or Enterprise Manager and see if you can see the objects using the same login in there.

But go ahead and call tech support if it gives you warm fuzzies.
