Hi,
I've a little question: I'm actually working on a Sun Solaris 2.6 and I would install the Oracle Agent on it.
I haven't any documentation about it.
I tried first, and the installation went on successfully, but the Agent doesn't start.
How can I remove the Oracle Agent I installed, leaving the other Agents?
Could you help me with the right installation of the Oracle Agent?
Thank your so much.
Kind regards.

You can use deinstall.aworks <some options> to uninstall the oracle agent or use command caiOrA2 <i dont remember the exact agent name > caiOraA2 remove option works. Again to install just give cmd caiOraA2 install...that's it

Here are the steps:
1) find out which one of the caiOraA2_XX you have:
./awservices status
says, you have caiOraA2_81

2) backup the old settings
./caiOraA2_81 version --instance=<your SID>

3) to remove it use, login as root

./caiOraA2_81 stop --instance=<your SID>
./caiOraA2_81 remove --instance=<your SID>

voila
