Hello All:

How would one know if Oracle Streams Advanced Queing is installed in an 11g Database. I cant get to my OUI to see the list of installed components.

If the component Oracle Streams Advanced Queuing is installed, how does one know that the Advance queuing is actually working. Right now our messages are not getting to the FSM_QTAB.

Right now we are getting:
Error : Error "ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 3
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
&
Error : Error "ORA-30625: method dispatch on NULL SELF argument is disallowed

Thanks for your input

AQ is available in Oracle by default.
Do you have execute privileges on DBMS_AQADM?

I've pointed our dev team at AQ, and they've gotten along with it ok. I believe that they gave up with the 10g version, and installed 11g for its .NET interoperability (to help their development) and I believe 11 has better AQ to .NET interoperability. The dev team know more about this than I do.

Regards

T
