Oracle 9i install on AIX5.2L

Anyone have a problem installing Oracle 9i on AIX5.2L?
Whenever my DBA does the install it freezes the screen, keyboard and mouse. I have to power down the box in order to get back into the box.

Any ideas?

i think there is a patch for JDK 1.3.1, IY31033, and JDK 1.1.8, IY30886... however since we are still working with 5.1.0-01 i can't be sure that is your problem. i think there is also a requirement for perl 5.6.1 at a minimum. you can get the perl-5.6.1 bff files at Bull's freeware site.
